Wow, interesting to see some true colors in some of the former members that were part of this clan. This must be what the Black out or whatever clan is built upon.

I don't really care for drama, and I'm not so sure I really care for this clan anymore. I joined thinking there were some halfway decent people in here, and there were, not very many, but some. However, I've seen too many people concerned only with ranks, admins with poor admin abilities, and members of SD just showing absolute disrespect to members of their own clan.

I had my doubts about joining when I was unable to find any sort of clan roster on the website, basically indicating the clan had become so large that now not even the leaders could keep track of how many people were in it. The sense of comradeship is almost non-existent, and without that, you don't have a clan, just a bunch of random people. I've been in other clans for other games, and the rule of thumb is to limit the amount of people allowed in your clan so that it stays manageable.

If you think about it, these black out guys actually have the right idea. They're downsizing, they're getting together with people they actually know. Not random names you see on the SD Steam group list who you've played with maybe twice for five minutes a piece. I look at it as, merely a way of getting out of this group and starting their own but using the "we're bored of Office" as an excuse. My understanding was that we can still play on other servers. I wasn't aware we were bound to the servers of the clan tags we wear.

I don't even know half of you people, and I'm not really sure why I'm posting this, but maybe my words won't fall on deaf ears. Half of you probably don't even know who I am, but I hope you don't overlook this post. Good luck with your drama folks, I've only been in this clan for maybe two months, and I've been playing Counter Strike for years, but I think I've realized, I'm more of a Team Fortress 2 guy.

I'll be taking my leave now. Nice playing with you guys, most of you anyway. Smile

team fortress 2 is a pretty kick ass game i'll give you that, but i believe currently what we are going through is just a necessary process of weeding out the weak willed from the devoted, giving us an almost fresh start, consider this, with every dark age, one of 2 things happens, complete and utter failure and collapse, or a renaissance of greatness follows, bringing better things than would have ever existed had we not fought through the tough times to make it out on top, the SD members who are laying low, staying out of all this non sense, keeping useless slanderous opinions to themselves(as i tip my hat), are going to be an integral part in founding something of LEGENDARY proportions, i have no doubt in my mind, we shall prevail over adversity and become better and stronger for it, stay strong and keep on playin SD...

Okay, on a somewhat serious note, if I may. A friend is a friend, even internet friends. I joined this team because there was indeed positive energy in this server and no one can deny this fact. Please correct me if I am wrong. What bothers me the most is that Shamp's is AWOL. I have played with him for years, and believe it or not, he even managed to make the LN server respectable when it was thriving. Please think beyond clan dramas and don't chase quality people away from this game.

Keep it fun, remember it's a game.
